About Me

Hi, I’m a commercial and portrait photographer based in Saint Charles, MO. My journey with photography began the moment I picked up a camera as a kid, guided by my father who taught me the fundamentals of film photography. Those early lessons instilled not only technical skills but also a deep appreciation for the craft and the patience it requires. Over time, that foundation grew into both my career and my creative outlet, shaping the way I see and capture the world today.

Commercial Photography

With two decades of experience working in and running small businesses, particularly in the food service industry, I understand firsthand the dedication it takes to build something from the ground up. That background, combined with the discipline I learned from film photography, allows me to approach commercial work with both strategy and artistry. I see photography not just as images, but as a tool for growth. Visuals that help businesses tell their stories, connect with customers, and stand out in competitive markets.

Whether I’m capturing the energy of a corporate event, showcasing products in their best light, or creating promotional imagery that reflects a brand’s personality, my goal is to blend professionalism with creativity. I want every client to walk away with images that reflect the pride they put into their work and that help them share their story with confidence.

Portrait Photography

The patience and intentionality I learned from film photography also shape the way I approach portraits. My years in small business taught me the value of relationships and individuality, and portrait sessions give me the chance to celebrate those qualities. Every session is more than just a photograph, it’s an opportunity to highlight someone’s unique journey and the passion behind their work.

I especially enjoy collaborating with local artists and entrepreneurs, because I understand the challenges and triumphs of building something from the ground up. Portraits become a way to capture not only a person’s image but also the spirit of their work and the pride they carry. My goal is always to create portraits that feel authentic, empowering, and deeply personal.

Life Outside Photography

When I’m not behind the lens, you’ll often find me at a local coffee shop with a fresh cup in hand, tinkering with personal projects or catching up with friends and family. I’m also actively involved with the Missouri Wing of the Commemorative Air Force, where I get to participate in meaningful community events and meet inspiring people who share a love of history and service.

Let’s Connect

Thank you for taking the time to admire my photography. If my work resonates with you and sparks ideas, I’d love to hear them. If you feel inspired or simply exploring possibilities, please don’t hesitate to contact me. I welcome the chance to discuss your vision and how we can bring it to life together.

My studio is located in the heart of Saint Charles’ historic district, offering both convenience and character. Just one block from the scenic riverfront, it’s surrounded by cobblestone streets, local retail shops, restaurants and timeless architecture. You’ll find me above Picasso’s Coffee, a local favorite, that adds to the welcoming atmosphere. The setting makes every visit feel special, easy to reach, yet enriched by the unique energy of the neighborhood.
